This vintage Avirex G-1 flight jacket is a striking tribute to WW11 aviation heritage. Crafted from heavily distressed goat skin leather that features a deep pebbled texture and an authentic aged patina. While the exterior follows the classic U.S. Navy specs with large button button flap patch pockets and a bi swing back for mobility, the interior reveals a vibrant tri colour nylon lining in teal, cream yellow and red. This commemorative lining is detailed with historic military "Diploma" graphics and stenciled airfield locations including Will Rogers Field and Waycross Field. These airfield locations date back to 1942. Produced around 1990-1991, this leather jacket perfectly captures the rugged, lived in aesthetic that made Avirex a staple for collectors and vintage enthusiasts alike. Made in Korea.
